It's that time of the week again...scavenger hunt time!
TIME
I can't believe how fast time is passing me by as it relates to my kids. I remember when Chloe was still too small to ride the Dora big wheel, but she wanted to just sit on it and pretend. It seems like I blinked and now she looks ridiculous trying to fit on it. I'm so glad she still wants to pull it out every now and then though. I hope she hangs on to childhood with both hands!
POETRY
I love seeing life through my children's eyes...so pure...so joyful...so free!
OUTSIDE
Oh, to be a kid on a tire swing!
ZOOM!
Our driveway is great for things with wheels. The girls just struggle to the end of the driveway, then turn around, lift their feet, and ZOOM! My little daredevil is especially impressed that included a paved hill at our house. Ha!
ISOLATION
This week at soccer practice, the coach decided to make Sophia the goalie for their team. For my little social butterfly, this isolation was just plain weird. She danced and sang for a little while (this picture), but soon a little girl from the opposing team came to stand with her and they quickly became friends. What can I say? She just isn't cut out for isolation.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday: April 10, 2011
Hmmmm...I'm going to try to start participating in Scavenger Hunt Sunday over at Ramblings & Photos. I always enjoy seeing everyone else's entries, but have never joined in. So, here I go!
MOTION:
Here's a photo from today's wildflower shoot with my girls. I just love how the wind is blowing her hair!

WAITING TO CLICK:
This is from the girls' first soccer practice EVER! Why is it "waiting" related? Well, I was shooting their warm up and almost just walked away to get my spot where they would actually practice. But instead, I waited until they each found their ball and started to walk away. Then I clicked. I think I actually like this shot even better than the kicking and scoring shots that came later!
FASHION:
Here's my latest attempt at copying fashion. I've been loving all of the cute rosette headbands I see on all the photo prop sites. So beautiful! I decided to try it out for myself and these two little rosette clips that the girls are wearing would be my first two rosettes. Yea me!
ANIMAL'S PERSPECTIVE:
My cat likes to keep the kids in sight at all times. I don't know if it's because they are interesting or if it's because they pose the most likely risk and she wants to keep tabs on them. Either way, I shot this from her favorite perch when they are in the living room playing. Please ignore my dusty floor!
MANY:
Here are the girlies sitting in the middle of many bluebonnets.
Thanks for letting me join in the fun!
